I'm all packed; now just to catch the damnable plane and...should I be exited? I am, and also a bit nervous. It's hard to be leaving behind the city I love, but I think it must be done.

Occupation: Multiple. She currently owns an art gallery that is more-or-less ignored by her, and run by subordinates. She is the co-Art director of a performance cooperative, and is on the Board of Directors of a major Theatre, as well as occasionally playing violin for a touring symphony and giving the even more occasional concert. Comments have, in the past, been made about the woman's lack of interest in picking a single career.
Impression: Fiery, uncompromising, charismatic, libertine.
Reputation: Formidable. She has been known to ruin artistic careers for (and with) nothing more than an idle word. She is charismatic and charming, but can be astonishingly cruel with no sign of remorse. She has a reputation for perfectionism, excellence, and a fondness for gathering talented and unknown artists to her and showing them shocking generosity...until she tires of them.
Then again, there must be something there that keeps people coming back...
Relationships: Parents, both deceased. Her elder brother, living elsewhere and busy with his own affairs, but the two are said to be close. Her husband, who keeps his own schedule. There are rumours that she takes the odd lover, but she has never deigned either to confirm or deny them.
History/Motivations: Annette was born in Sanford to parents well-off, well-bred and well-educated, and it was never in question that she would be exactly the same. After a family trip to Egypt at a young age, the girl showed a marked interest in travelling, and after proving her self-sufficiency on a few small trips, she was allowed to choose her own boarding school. She ended up choosing a school just outside Montreal; it began a love affair with the city that is still going. She still travels, and has been to every continent on earth for some amount of time - but she stayed put in Quebec long enough to purchase a house, set up a career or three, and marry.
